8.22 Quakebond Injection Resin
Rockbond 8.22 QuakeBond Epoxy Resin is a two component – resin-hardener system, designed for use in
seismic strengthening, civil engineering and commercial construction applications where a high strength,
low viscosity injection resin is required. QuakeBond injection resin is specially formulated for crack
injection and is also widely used as a structural bonding agent.
FEATURES:
• 2:1 mixing ration (resin : hardener)
• High mechanical and adhesive strengths.
• Injection temperature range anywhere between 5°C and
30°C.
• Strong bonding of concrete, steel reinforcing, holding down
bolts and bearing plates.
• Easy application and excellent flow characteristics.
• Highly resistant to impact and vibration.
• Does not become brittle.
• Low viscosity
• Suitable for gravity applications
USES:
• Fills and seals voids in structures such as bridges, columns,
foundations and water retaining structures.
• Seismic strengthening projects.
• Crack injection resin – suitable for use in 2:1 ratio pump.
• Sealing voids where water/moisture is penetrating.
• Sealing cracks prior to screeding.
• Structural bonding.
