Tell us what solutions you provide and who for?

Durastruct specialises in project management for concrete conditioning and remedial solutions, offering comprehensive services like inspections, spalling and crack repairs, seismic strengthening, structural rebuilds, and concrete durability enhancements with advanced coatings and additives. Our team works across a range of assets, including bridges, wharves, car parks, structural walls, columns, beams, basements, confined spaces, valve chambers, pits, manholes, and sewer infrastructure.

Can you share any upcoming projects or plans that you’re particularly excited about?

We’re excited to be collaborating with Rockbond on various seismic strengthening projects, combining our expertise to enhance structural resilience. Locally, we’re passionate about restoring bridges impacted by Cyclone Gabriel in our hometown, a rewarding endeavour that supports both farmers and communities affected by infrastructure closures.

What are the key challenges your organisation/industry is currently experiencing and what are your plans to overcome them?

With government spending reduced, contractors across the industry are seeing less organic project flow, making proactive business development essential. We’re addressing this shift by strengthening client relationships, enhancing our service portfolio, and remaining adaptable in our approach.

Can you share with us a key organisational milestone or success story?

A significant milestone for Durastruct was completing bridge repairs that reopened access for milk and stock trucks to surrounding farmland. This project brought the community together in support, reminding us of our purpose and the positive impact we aim to deliver each day.

What’s next for your industry and what are your plans to stay ahead?

The concrete industry is constantly advancing, with technology evolving at an incredible pace. To stay at the forefront, we’re focused on innovation – developing faster, more efficient repair methods that meet both structural and environmental standards.
