Rockbond worked with LT McGuiness (main contractor) and Solid Art (FRP installer) to strengthen concrete shear walls and columns on this retrofit project. It was a challenging site with a good quantity of FRP being applied to the shear walls with through-anchors through the slab connecting the FRP on each level.

The team at Solid Art did a great job of installing the CFRP wet lay-up system on this project. Rockbond also supplied a wide range of other products to the LT McGuinness team including structural grouts, mortars & epoxies.

It’s very rewarding seeing a difficult retrofit strengthening project evolve into a stunning piece of commercial architecture!
